NEW DELHE: Indian baseball will make its international debut in the 14th edition of the Asian Championship to be held in Tokyo.

Mr.P.C. Bhardvaj Secretary General of the Amateur Baseball Federation of India, said here that a 19 member squad led by Rajender of Andhm Pradesh would represent India at the eight day champion ship.

The team comprises six payers from Karnataka, four from Tamil Nadu, three each form AP and Manipurand one cach from Delhi, Punjab and Bihar. Mr. G. Nagra of Karataka willbe the coach and Mr, P. Rajkumar of Tamil Nedu the manager.

Mr, Bhardia who will be the Chet de Mission of the squad, said the team had Lundeigone intensive Waning and three coaching camps were held prior 10 the selection of the team.
