TORONTO: “Unless the Bloc Quebecans wins at least 37 or 38 of Quebec’s 75 seats, its legitimacy to fight for Quebec Sovereignty in Ottawa will be diminished,” this is the first time in the election campaign than Bouchard has set a clear standard for his party to be effective in the House of Commons. Bouchard want to say that sovereignty is the only solution. He also stressed that bloc would fight for policies such as deficit cutting which would! be good for all Canadians, Bloc Quebecans wants Quebec to be separate from Canada. Quebec has the majority of French speaking people. Montreal is its largest city.
