THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has proposed conducting an international football tournament for the under-21 age group Mr PP. Lakshmanan secretary of the AIFF said here.
The first such tournament to be conducted on the lines of the Jawaharlal Nehru International Football Tournament would be held in Calcutta from January 11 to 27 next year.
The AIFF secretary said that six teams would take part in the championships with India fielding two sides and two each from Europe and from Asia.
