STOCKTON: In reference to a news report in the Sacramento Bee headlined; “Sikhs gun down Hindus on train;” Sarwan Singh Gill of Fair Oaks replied, “the report describes Sikhs as radicals which isn’t true. Sikhs are God fearing and peace-loving people.
“Sikhs are slaves in India and are fighting for freedom. Just like Mujahideen in the Afghan government eyes are rebels and terrorists but we call them freedom fighters,
“We have no media to tell the world what’s happening in Punjab. Even international human rights bodies are not allowed in Punjab to see the barbaric acts of the Indian government. Sikhs are being slaughtered.
“Radical doesn’t describe Sikhs. Call them innocent, hardworking peace loving and God loving people.”
