CHANDIGARH, India: More than 150 lawyers from Punjab and Chandigarh belonging to Punjab Sikh Lawyers’ Council yesterday staged a demonstration in Chandigarh and submitted a memorandum to Governor S.S. Ray against fake encounters by police and security forces in Punjab.
The lawyers walked in a process ion from Punjab and Haryana High Court to the Punjab Raj Bhawan. The delegation was led by Justice A.S. Bains.
