NEW DELHL, India: The Akhil Bharatya Shiv Sena has demanded military rule in Punjab. If the army can be sent to Tripura, Meghalaya and Sri Lanka why it cannot be sent to Punjab to curb militancy, Mr Surinder Kumar Billa, Vice-president of Shiv Sena said in a statement at New Delhi. He demanded for the continuation of President’s rule in Punjab, till the Sikh militancy is curbed. He demanded that the Constitution should be amended to enable the Central government to continue the President’s rule for five years.
