DHAKA, Nov 10, Reuter: Opposition activists trying to revive a campaign to force Bangladeshi President Hossain Mohammad Ershad to resign clashed during a rally on Thursday, injuring at least 10 people.

Witnesses said supporters of rival groups the Awami League and Bangladesh Nationalist Party chased and fought each other with sticks and stones. Other activists who were not identified hurled six small homemade bombs at the crowds.

At least 10 people were injured in the clashes but no one was hit by the bombs, police told reporters.
