GENEVA: Bosnia’s Serb leader dropped demands Jan.11 for a separate slate in a concession coinciding with the first appearance at peace talks by Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic. Radovan Karadzic’s decision could lead to a power sharing pact among Bosnia’s Serbs, Muslims and Croats.

In Montenegro, President Momir Bulatovic was re-elected by a nearly 2to1 margin over an opponent who favored close ties to Serbia, final results showed.
