AMRITSAR: The security set up in Punjab has been mobilized to check the likely escalation of violence in the state after the reported return of two top militant leaders from Pakistan according to the highly placed Govt sources.

This report has cautioned the state government that the Panthic Committee member Bhai Wassan Singh and other top brasses of the militant organizations have crossed over to Punjab from Pakistan. IT is said that Bhai Kanwar Singh Dhami has crossed to India from Jodhpur sector immediately after the death of General Zia UL Haq. The report added that the state government is gearing up its security set up to meet that threat. The Security top officials met at Tarn ‘Taran to assess the situation and plan out a new line of action.
