PATIALA: INDIA: Senior Superintendent of Police Patiala Mr. Sital Dass and Superintendent Police Gurdev Singh Brar were shot dead by a policeman suspected of links with Sikh Militants here as they began an investigation into his activities, police said. The assailant was also killed when the senior officer’s bodyguards returned the fire.
Mr. Sital Dass was Superintendent Police, Amritsar City before his posting to Patiala.
