CHANDIGARH: Ranjit Singh Riar, President of the Chandigarh unit of Akali Dal (Badal) was killed last week when he came out of the Sector 15 Gurdwara of which he was President. The Babbar Khalsa International later owned responsibility for the killing on the ground that Riar was a hypo crate who ran liquor business.
