NEW YORK: P V Narasimha Rao, former federal Indian external affairs minister, has made remarkable progress since his heart bypass surgery Tuesday, doctors attending on him said Friday. Rao, who was operated upon in Houston hospital, was Friday shifted from the intensive care unit to a private room, they said. Rao is likely to be discharged from the hospital within a week.
