From Dispatches SHIMLA: Shanta Kumar, President, Himachal BJP, has said that the revelations made by Gen K. Sundayji in the Bofors gun case have been given strength to his party’s demand for the ouster of Rajiv Gandhi, Gandhi had become a “threat” to the security of the country, he said.
Shanta Kumar was addressing newsmen here after a meeting of the office bearers of the State BJP.
“General Sundarji has never told a lie, while Gandhi has never Spoken the truth on the Bofors issue,” thus there was no reason to disbelieve the former, Shanta KuMar said,
He said it was for the first time in the history of the country that the Prime Minister was being considered as a security risk for having “aproved” the purchase of the defective gun.
