LOS ANGELES, Ca.: The Punjabi artists who participated in the Punjabi Cultural Night held here on May 2, 1987, were honored with plaques which were presented by the Hollywood actress and former Miss India Perse Kambatta. The courtesy dinner from Royal India Restaurant was held at the residence of Dr. Jasbir Singh Mann.

At the dinner meeting it was decided to forma Punjabi Cultural Society on a permanent basis to promote Punjabi Culture and to create greater cohesion among the people from Punjab.

It was also decided to sponsor 65 orphans of anti-Sikh riots in India.
