NAHAN (HP), Punjab annexed three of the eight titles which were at stake during the morning session on the fourth day of National Sub Junior Boxing Championships being played here.

The Punjab boxers emerging winners were R, Kumar (3639kg), S. Kumar (48Sikg) and H. Singh (4245kg).

‘Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir and Manipur shared the remaining titles

In the first final of the day, in the 4559ko category, J. Sham of Andhra Pradesh knocked out Sugandan of Karnataka in the second round to win the gold.

In another well contested final, R. Bansent of West Bengal beat A. Kumar of Bihar on points to clinch the title in 3336 kg category.
