BALASORE(ORISSA): India’s indigenously developed surface to surface medium range missile, “Prithvi” would be test fired for the 12th time from the Interim Test Range (ITR) at Chandi pur on sea, 12 km from here on any day between Noy.20 and 29) according to official sources. Earlier it was decided to test fire the missile between Noy.820, A number of tests are scheduled to be conducted here before the missile is finally handed over to the defence authorities.

Daring the current trials the warhead of the missile is programed to hit an island located in the Bay of Bengal, 15 km from Dharma fishing harbor. The missile will help India to further its nuclear ambitions.
