ISLAMABAD (PTI): Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) premier Abdul Qayyum Khan has said his government will not stop the opposition from going ahead with its Proposed call to cross the Line Of Control (LOC) into India on October 24.

“The thing under consideration at present is whether the government and the Muslim conference should join the people to cross the LOC on the call of the Jammu Kashmir democratic alliance or not,” Khan told a press conference.

Attempts by the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (KLF) to cross the LOC provided a “Justification” to India to deploy troops in Kashmir.

Qayyum Khan said Islamabad should parley with New Delhi with the pre-condition of resolving the Kashmir issue people living on both sides of the LOC had the “right” to freely move in the entire Kashmir, in accordance with the UN charter.

It may be recalled that the Pakistani authorities had stopped the JKLF members from crossing the LOCearlier this year. During the February attempt, Pakistani security forces opened fire on JKLF members.
