LUDHIANA: The two-member inquiry committee setup by the Punjab Congress to probe charges of corruption against All India Youth Congress president Maninderjit Singh Bits has submitted its report. This was disclosed here July 16 by Chief Minister Beant Singh while talking to media persons. However he refused to share its findings or disclose whether he intended to take any action against Bitta on the basis of this report. Asked whether Bitta had been given an extension as the ALYC chief on the expiry of his one year term two days back Beant Singh replied “we have no objection to Bitta continuing as the AIYC chief. The Prime “Minister has to decide this.”
