Islamabad: Pakistan is not considering any proposals to establish diplomatic relations with Israel a Pakistan foreign office spokesman said amidst controversy over a statement by Islamabad’s ambassador-designate to Washington that the country might reconsider its to support the Palestinians and their cause.
The Ambassador designate to the US. Ms. Syeda Abida Hussain was quoted by India Abroad: As having said “today the Palestinians and the Israelis are talking and if India is choosing to mend fences with Israel and moving away from its classic support to the Palestinians Pakistan may be in position to do the same.”
