KARACHI, Pakistan, July 25, Reuter: Pakistan’s defence spending should be cut and the armed forces reorganized to keep the Generals in check, an opposition leader said on Friday. “The spending’s on defence are an unbearable burden on the national resources and badly affect the development plans to better the lot of the people,” Sardar Sherbaz Khan Mazari, head of the National Democratic Party, told a news conference.
