JOURNALIST: Mr. Ambassador, Indian Government carried out the revengeful execution of Kehar Singh and Satwant Singh ignoring appeals by Amnesty international, International Jurists Commission and large number of other human rights organizations and eminent individuals.

AMBASSADOR: That’s right.

JOURNALIST: Indian Supreme Court also summarily dismissed every argument of the Defense Counsels and insisted upon upholding the sentences despite clear loopholes in prosecution’s case.

AMBASSADOR: Very correct.

JOURNALIST: Doesn’t it conclusively prove that Sikhs can never, never hope for justice in India?

JOURNALIST: How long can the Hindu rulers of India hope to dupe the world about its pretentions to secularism when every important activity of the government is preceded by Hindu religious rites?

AMBASSADOR: Very correct.

JOURNALIST: Don’t you think India is abandoning Najibullah’s sinking ship and trying to project itself as a well-wisher of Afghanistan?
