TORONTO: Two years after the Golden Temple massacre in India, the Canadian Sikh Community is making a plea to the public to accept them as peace-loving people.
The President of the Canadian chapter of the World Sikh Organization says they are willing 10 spend more than 100 thousand dollars to get that message across.

More than one-thousand Sikhs died two years ago this week, When the Indian Army attacked the Golden Temple in an effort to flush out extremists demanding a separate Sikh State. The Golden Temple is the Sikhs’ Holiest Shrine.
