KITCHENER: ONT The New Managing Committee of the Gurdwara was unanimously elected by the Sangat of the Gurdwara after dramatic developments as reported by Mr. H.S. Gakhal. The reported attempt of the old management to perpetuate their control was foiled and election for the new management was held under the supervision of the police and some important resolutions were passed unanimously.

The new committee comprises S. Dalip Singh Dhillon (President); S. Satnam Singh Wagha (Secretary); Giani Harbhajan Singh Chhoker; Sardarni Jasvir Kaur Kahlon; S. Baljinder Singh Grewal; Sardarni Mandip Kaur Dhilon; Sardarni Yashpal Kaur Gakhal; S. Dilbar Singh Grewal; S. Pawittar Singh Gill; S. Sukhwinder Singh Dhindsa and S. Harmit Singh Anand.

Through a resolution the entire old executive committee was suspended which included among others S, Kuldip Singh Chhatwal; S. Kulwant Singh Rai and S. Harjit ‘Singh Bains. S. Gurdey Singh Sangha, S. Sewa Singh Dhatt and S. Baljinder Singh Sangha were suspended from basic membership for a period of ten years.

All Sikhs groups were invited to express their views freely in the Gurdwara.

All rules introduced by the old executive during the past six months were declared anti Panthic and un -Sikh like and withdrawn. The practice of compulsory donations was changed and instead voluntary donations were invited.
