BELGRADEYUGOSLAVIA: Sarajevo was blasted recently in Serbian attacks that struck hospitals pedestrians and the downtown area despite U.N. efforts to launch a “week of tranquility” in the besieged capital.

Bosnia’s Muslim-led government rejected Serb-made clothing brought by UNICEF for needy children in the ravaged capital. The rejection of such badly needed aid only underlined the deep hatred felt toward the Serbs.
