VANCOUVER:-“No longer will I be a matter of years to obtain Visa in India for coming over to Canada. We will see to it that the visa process is completed within few months.” said Mim Karpoff NDF MP from Surrey. Mi Karpoff was speaking in the houseful congregation on Sunday the 9th February of Gurdwarz Khalsa Diwan Society Ross Street Vancouver. The special Dewan was held to commemorate the martyrdom of Shaheed Bhai Sukhwinder Singh Gora and others martyrs who laid down their lives for the cause of separate Sikh homeland in India.

Assuring his full support to the Indo Canadians Mir Karpoff said that he will be going to Delhi very shortly with his two colleagues and make an on the sport survey about the problems which the indoCanadians mostly the Sikhs in Punjab have to face in connection with immigration matters. Mr-Jim Karpoff said the immigrations eases should not take more than 6 months’ time and to facilitate the mattress the matters efforts will be made to open up on immigration office somewhere in Punjab.
