Has Won 75 International Triple Jump competitions, that include 3 Gold 1 Silver in the Asian Games & Asian Athletic championships.
1 Gold, 1 Bronze in Commonwealth games, the only Silver medal for an Asian in the 1971 World Cup & 5N.C.A.A. championships.
Winner of Arjuna award and Maharaja Ranjit Singh award. Set 19 International Records. Inducted in the Hall of Fame in 1989.
