GAUHATI, India, July 11, Reuter: Bomb blasts outside two cinemas on Sunday night injured more than 50 people in Naxa on, a town in India’s remote northeastern state of Assam, a senior police official said on Monday.

He said 15 people were seriously hurt by the explosions, timed to go off as filmgoers crowded out of the cinemas after the shows ended.

No group has claimed responsibility for the explosions.
