STONEY CREEK: A 35yrold man in hospital with a bullet wound of his head will be charged with killing his wife and her parents.

Manjit Sarao will be charged with Sunday mornings triple slaying when he is well enough to understand police said Monday.

Saraos wife Ranbir Sarao 32 her father Amrik Sidhu 55 and his wife Surinder 49 were shot at close range with a handgun. The gunmen then shot himself.

Police said the suspect’s wife had left the couple’s home in the Toronto suburb of Mississauga less than a week before the shooting and taken her children to live with her parents near Hamilton.

Police were called to the house shortly before the shooting by a daughter of the dead couple.

Emergency dispatchers heard gunshots over the telephone

A man believed to be another son in law of the Sidhus ran from the house shortly afterward. “He was frantic. He was just saying “They’re dead get an ambulance” said neighbor Susan Held. “He was mumbling about bullets and stuff”

The Sidhus other daughter then ran from the house carrying the suspects two young children out.
