CHANDIGARH (PTI): Two railway employees, a home guard and four militants including a Lt.Gen of Bhindranwale Tigers Force of Khalistan (Manochal) were among 10 persons killed in the north Indian state of Punjab on Sept.8.

Two railway employees were killed and four injured when gunmen, being chased by security forces, opened fire near the railway station in Ludhiana.

One of the militants was also killed in the encounter while a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Jawan was injured, police said.

Militants shot dead a home guard Sukhwinder Singh and his brother Gurbaksh Singh in Jagraon police district.

Lt.Gen. Manjinder Singh of Bhindranwale Tigers Force of Khalistan, was killed in an en- counter with security forces in Tam Taran police district.

Gunmen shot dead a wine con- tractor, Sat Narain in Patiala city, Gunmen also shot dead Amarjit Kaur in Faridkot district.

Gunmen kidnapped one person in the Nathana police station area of Bathinda district,
