Bhatinda — “The Russian agency KGB and Indian Super intelligence wing RAW were behind communal violence in Punjab and army action in Durbar Sahib,” asserted Sant Harchand Singh Longowal. He alleged that Central Government headed by Indira Gandhi had conspired by killing Hindus in Punjab to make electoral gains in other parts of the country during the Parliamentary elections.
The second motive behind this violence against one community was to defame Sikhs in the whole of the country. On the other hand Russian Agency KGB was not happy with the Government of Pakistan over the Afghanistan issue and was interested in aggravating tension on Indo Pak border so that disputes between the two countries may not be solved with mutual understanding.
