Surrey RCMP Staffs. Richard Deets confirmed a charge has been laid against Power, 38, an Abbotsford resident and president of the Masque Liberal riding association. “He has been charged with uttering threats,”

Deets said. “He was released on an undertaking to appear in Surrey provincial court July 11 at 9 a.m., He’s not to be in Surrey except to attend court, and he’s not to contact Mr. Grewal. He’s to keep the peace and be of good behavior,” said Deets. Grewal finished fourth in Delta North with 769 votes. Reni Masi, the Liberal candidate, won the riding with 9,384 votes, taking| the riding from the former New Democrat MLA Norm Lotic. Power could not be reached,
