Dear Editor,

I would like to explain my view regarding W.S.O. and other problems at the brink of crisis,

  1. The so-called moderate Sikhs should learn something from the Virtual collapse of Punjab accord. The important lesson that they can learn is not to trust the Present Congress Government.
  2. Those Sikhs who believed that Pakistan Government has been and would be helpful to Sikh cause, have been proved wrong. Pakistan has given death sentences to the Sikhs but in the past the same Government released other Indian hijackers who had protested against late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s arrest. The Pakistan Government, has not given justice to the Sikhs, how could Sikhs trust this Government. It may misuse Sikhs for its selfish motives.
  3. We all should believe in God pray to him for help for Justice and Freedom. We should work with honest ways to get freedom. We cannot become True Sikhs as defined in Guru Granth Sahib, See my courtesy advertisement in last WSN, 1985 issues.
  4. I would like to request W.S., to consider all its founder members as concerned and involved ‘Sikhs. They should be invited to all meetings including the Governing Council meetings, This is also laid down in its Bylaws Page 23. We are part of the Think & Tank and would like to serve the Sikh Panth in True Spirit. A letter to the General Secretary written last year in this respect remains unanswered so far.

God bless all of you & this News Paper

Yours Sincerely

  1. Saini M.D.

Dear Editor:

Subject: What can we do for Sikh cause?

Remembering President Keneddy’s famous words, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask ‘what you can do for your count 1?” We have decided to make our humble contribution to the Sikh cause in following three ways

  1. Send financial help to the victimized Sikh families of operator Blue Star and Delhi massacre.
  2. Expose the atrocities committed on Sikhs in India to the leaders and other influential persons in U.S.A.
  3. Bring the human right violation of Sikhs and other minorities to the notice of world figure and organization, As a starting point we propose
  4. To send $30,00 per month to ‘one orphaned child for educator at Sikh Public School, Daghshai Himachal Pardesh, India,
  5. Send highlighted copies of “Citizen Commissions Report” on Delhi massacre and “Oppression in Punjab” to the local and national media, congressmen and senators, political science professors, supreme court judges, league of women voters, church leaders and other similar persons and organizations who influence public opinion.
  6. Inform world figures like Pope John Paul Il, Billy Graham and Bishop Tutu about human rights violations of Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, women and children in India.

As a humble start three Sikhs have pledged to devote an hour and a dollar a day (ie.,$30,00 and 30 hrs. per month) for a year to this cause, Any person or organization who is already serving or wants to serve the Sikh cause in a similar way may contact us for mutual cooperation by using the quick response form given below.

Dear Editor, You have been out smarted by an agent of Hindu Government. I am disappointed that you would waste so much space on a letter by Mr, Anand. This man is a Staunch Supporter of the Hindu Government and his action has proven that. He is also a reporter and promoter of pro Hindu weekly “India West” which has consistently twisted the Sikh aspirations and projected the Hindu stooges as leaders of Sikh community.

‘Mr Anand who is the president of FIA (Federation of Indian Association) claims to be a Sikh. I see a parallel between him and Zail Singh who is the President of Hindustan. To hold positions in Hindu regime these degenerates claim to represent Sikhs but compete for the last drop of Sikhs. Every ‘community has such individuals. Jewish Defense League took care of Jews who collaborated with the Nazis, Sikhs in Hindustan will have to do likewise.

The letter to the Lt. Governor by Mr. Sandhu which has irked the president of FIA was backed with material smuggled out of Hindustan, Hindus in this country like playing a very clever game by appointing a Sikh as head of Indian Association to fight for the right of Hindustanis,

Such organizations only tend to drive a wedge between the Sikhs and other Americans. Flattery or ego makes some Sikhs fall for the bait and they do a lot of harm to their own community. There is n0 reason for the Sikhs to live under The Label as Indians which stands for “Hindu India.” Sikhs must strive to be recognized through their own identity as Sikhs. Only then we can educate the world of Sikh religion and create a better understanding towards its beliefs and practices. American Sikh Would be better off by developing their alliances with Americans of her than of Hindustani Origin.

It will be outright stupidity to become the burden bearers of Hindustanis, One needs to be cautious of Hindu motive. They have played this game successfully in Hindustan by projecting the Muslims as enemies of Sikhs while the Sikh History is full of Hindu treachery. One need not go too far back. Last 40 years will provide ample evidence, Why should they behave any differently in their country?

Every American politician must be educated about the atrocities committed by the Hindu Government. Those politicians who approve of the Hindustan, treatment of Sikh’s should not be extended any cooperation,

Sethi

Dear Editor,

I wonder which dark tunnel Mr. ‘Anand has had his head stuck up for the last two years. In his letter WSN issue Feb 28, 86 he implies that nothing terrible happened against the Sikhs in India, What proof is he looking for? To play dumb is no solution to a very volatile situation.

I have never expressed my opinion in the past, my recent trip to India has convinced me that it is not only cowardly to remain silent against the Indian Government but a criminal act of utmost degree. I personally met some families who have suffered from the action of Indian

Government. The feelings of intolerance against Sikhs in general is ‘widespread.

There are several books which have been published on the Indian Atrocities against the Sikhs. These books are banned but are available through connections. Incidentally I bought some of these books from a Hindu Book Store owner. A few of these books are coauthored by decent Hindu authors and are real eye openers.

If the security of Sikh families is somehow guaranteed several families will speak up. The Government has threatened and punished people who are vocal. Very little assistance has been given to victims so far,

Sikh community is not at all comfortable in the Indian frame work. So charged is the atmosphere of animosity. That there is a feeling of uneasiness settling the score with Hindus is the opinion of many, another feeling expressed is that it is not possible to live with Hindus. It is better to separate,

Hindu treatment of minorities has literally destroyed the concept of secularism and one country, Things will never be the same after what I have observed, I conclude that Khalistan is on the horizon.

Yours Truly Jaswant Singh Jolly

Dear Editor,

So intoxicated are the Hindu Stooges with the blood of Sikh martyrs that no amount of proof can sober them to the reality. People like Mr. Anand have stooped so low that they area lost case, Their Hindu masters have mesmerized them to the extent that they are convinced that their masters can do no evil.

To ask for proof of atrocities committed is an insult to the Sikh Nation, Will the rape of his own mother, sister or daughter alone provide the necessary proof? Shame on you Mr. Anand, Only a demented mind can still be barking Proof—Proof—Proof.

I am glad that you exposed another Government agent.

Sincerely

Surjit Kaur.
