Dear Dr.Aulakh

This is with reference to your previous newsletter in which you carried out the disinformation about S.Simranjit Singh Mann and your advice to follow the leadership of Col. Partap Singh. I know both of them politically therefore am forced to write you against the lawmakers in favor of Sikh cause is very good. The field for your lobbying work is made ready by USA Sikhs in general and the California Sikhs in particular under the silent sincere and honest leadership of S. Didar Singh Bains.

AS regards S.Simranjit Singh Mann he left one of the top jobs in Indian police force as a protest against the military attack on golden temple Amritsar. Due to his strong belief he suffered and sacrificed everything for the Sikh Cause The grateful Sikh nation in appreciation of his services raised him to the status of a leader in Punjab. Before S. Simranjit Singh Mann came into prominence his father SJoginder Singh Mann contributed historically in Sikh politics. The congress party kept open the alluring opportunities for him but he remained unchanged in his convictions to the service of the Sikh panth. Therefore no one can even question the integrity and loyalty of the family with regard to the Sikh cause. I therefore do not understand how you are raising your voice in favor of Col.Partap Singh when he seized an opportunity to become a governor only to come out of the obscurity after a turbulent period of more than seven years so important in Sikh history. In a meeting held at Ludhiana on February 101991 which was also attended by some supporters of various discredited factions Col Partap Singh simply introduced the quit Khalistan resolution. You made a mountain of mole hill of his achievements. Since the passage of the resolution he is again out of sight without making that resolution effective in the field.

You are fully aware that before that meeting the Khalistan resolution stood passed in the Sarbat Khalsa gathering. This is upon that decision on which you base your claim as president of council of Khalistan. By giving Col. Partap Singh undue importance you are minimizing the historical importance of the Sarbat Khalsa gathering decisions

The fight for Khalistan started just after an attack on the Golden Temple and since than our militant youth are in war zone for its achievement. After a Sarbat Khalsa gathering decision the movement was organised and greatly intensified The Ludhiana meeting was a support for the cause of militants and was not meant to create new leaders.

The Sikh masses have not heard your name and the name of Col.Partap Singh Gill whereas the name of S.Simranjit Singh Mann is a house hold word Moreover leaders are not made by sponsorship by easy chair politicians but they are the product of sacrifice and long suffering. My feelings are shared by the Sikhs who are aware of the situation back home.

In the end I shall request and advise you to refrain from such cheap and ineffective politics and continue to serve the Sikh Panth as a lobbyist where your services are greatly appreciated.
