I really appreciate your editorial on Hindustan Times Editorial Comments. It was very nice to publish answers to the questions raised in Indian newspapers.

I would like to comment on the book Internal and External Threats to Sikhism. I really would like to congratulate the author of this book because of his courageous analysis of present day Sikh leadership crisis. Author appeared to have deep knowledge of Guru Granth Sahib and Sikh history. If we Sikhs follow Guru Granth Sahibs teachings and elect a good leader who follows Guru Granth Sahib and who also has ability to sacrifice worldly pleasures, greediness for the sake of Sikh rights, then enemy (evil government) will fall apart before honest truthful self-sacrificing people, We need to improve our weak points to become strong, unbreakable force. Unless we remove our shortcomings, we cannot succeed. We need strong faithful Sikhs, rather than long weak loose Sikh unity. We should all feel morally responsible to elect or bring forth such above mentioned leaders, Through your columns, I would like to convey my thanks to the author of this valuable book, I strongly recommend ego oriented Sikh leaders to read this book from page one to the last thoroughly and bring this into practice.

Yours sincerely,

G.S. Saini, MD.
