TURLOCKCA: The March 8 gathering was attended by people from the Bay Area and Yuba City and the Gurdwara Sahib hall was jam packed. Akhand Path service was done by Master Harbinder Singh Kallar and Bhai Sahib performed kirtan and then later on Panthic discussions were held.
Bhai Amrik Singh from San Jose explained atrocities done by the Indian government during 1984 Darbar Sahib Attack and Delhi riots and appealed to the sangat to support Khalistan struggle and Panthic Committee. Bhai Harminder Singh Samana of Sikh youth of America explained that Khalistan is our aim Khalistan Declaration is our guide and asked youth to join this organization.
Dr. Amarjit Singh a spokesman for the Panthic Committee and executive director of Khalistan Affairs Center explained the resent situation in Khalistan paid homage to Khalsa men & women martyred in this struggle and appealed i everybody to join in the struggle. He explained the brutal treatment and killing of Bibi Amandeep Kaur by Black Cats of Punjab Police. He thanked Turlock Sangat for participating in the struggle. Bhai Dhanna Singh past member of Panthic Committee praised the committee for following the April 29, 1986 Khalistan declaration and the efforts to attain independent sovereignty of a Khalistan state. Bhai Sarwan Singh managed the stage and promised to support the Khalistan movement on behalf of Turlock Sangat. Bhai Jasawar Singh Sandhu and Dalbir Singhs help was appreciated.
