LUDHIANA: The Khalistan Commando Force led by Wassan Singh Zaffarwal strongly opposed the anti-reservation agitation and the call for Punjab bandh for ‘Oct 9. The KCF has condemned violence in the name of the anti-reservation agitation and warned of serious consequences if the same was not stopped.
In a statement issued here by Wassan Singh Zaffarwal, Sarbjeet Singh Uppal, Mausecbat Singh, Jassa Singh Ghuk, Sukhminder Singh Pappu, Balwinder Sing Shabpur, Jassa Singh,Joga Singh Bishnandi, Bhoop Singh Bhanger, Kanwarpal Singh Ludhiana and many others said that the extension of President’s rule in Punjab would strengthen the movement for Khalistan.
‘The statement issued on the letterhead of the KCF has also warned against misusing the name of the KCF or the Panthic Committee (Zaffarwal) and maintained that they had taken serious note of the action of the Controller of Examinations of the Punjab University,
The statement also warned the Ferozepore police of serious consequences if any harm was done to the family of Bhai Mohkam Singh, a spokesman of the Damdami Taksal and asked it to release the persons taken in illegal custody from Moharwale village by Oct 10.
