AMRITSAR — the Panthic Committee at an unknown place reorganized the militant “Khalistan Commando Force (KCF)” and All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF).

A three page Press release in Gurmukhi script dropped at newspaper and news agency offices here on Monday afternoon said the Panthic Committee has appointed Mr. Dalwinder Singh, member of Panthic Committee as “new chief” of “Khalistan Commando Force” in place of “General” Labh Singh alias Sukha Sipahi who was killed in an encounter with the security forces earlier.

Mr. Ajit Singh alias Jassa Singh was appointed second in command of “KCF”.

Mr. Manjit Singh was retained as president of AISSF and the Panthic Committee directed him to discontinue his links with the Government agents. And take a pledge for establishment of Khalistan. If Manjit Singh violated the directions of the Committee, an acting president will be appointed in his place, the press note said.

The Press release was signed by Bhai Gurbachan Singh Manochahal.

The meeting also appointed two Damdami Taksal leaders as adviser to the AISSF. Their names are being kept secret.

The Panthic Committee directed Dr. Gurnam Singh Bhuttar to appoint district presidents all over the state and strengthen the AISSF in universities, colleges and schools.

In a resolution, the Panthic Committee condoled the death of Avtar Singh Brahma.

The Committee also condoled the death of President of Pakistan late General ZiaulHaq and considered General Zia as sympathetic to the cause of ‘Khalistan’.
