SRINAGAR: Unidentified gunmen gate-crashed into the Kashmir offset press, run by Aftab Charitable Trust at Gawkadal in Srinagar last week, locked-tip the staff members and hurled a grenade towards the press, staff members said.
They said the device exploded outside the camera section, with a big, causing damage.
Almost all the leading Urdu and English dallies including Aftab ,Alsafa Wadi Ki Awaz and Greater Kashmir are published by the press. Weekly Chattan and jabroot were also published from this press.
Seven militants including three Pakistan-trained militants from the outlawed Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front and Ikhwanul- “Muslimeen were also apprehended during the operation, claimed police.
