ARANYAPRATHET Thailand Reuter: Kampuchean guerrillas said that they had obtained there mains of two Americans captured and executed by the Communist Khmer Rouge during the Indo China war.

Guerrillas of the non-Communist Kampuchean Peoples National Liberation Front (KPNLF) they had obtained the remains parts of leg bones identifications and necklaces of navy man John Ogelsey and newspaper correspondent Bernard Handricks from villagers in Southeaster Kampuchea.

They told reporters near this Thai border town that they had just returned from fighting Viet names forces in Kampucheas Svay Rieng and Kandal provinces earlier this month.

The guerrillas who said the two were captured by the Khmer Rouge in 1971 and executed in 1972 gave the ID numbers of Ogelsey and Handricks as 366710899 and 504629342 respectively.

 American officials were not available for comment. Washington says 1789 Americans disappeared in Vietnam or off its coasts and 91 in Kampuchea.
