NEW DELHI, India: Three ‘more persons, who allegedly helped Harjinder Singh Jinda and his friends, were arrested here, according to police sources,

While two of them identified as Surinder Singh Josh (30), a property dealer, and Kulwant Singh, alias Lali (25), a taxi driver in South Delhi, were arrested by the Delhi police, one more was arrested in Noida by the Uttar Pradesh police.

The arrests were made following disclosures made by Satnam Singh Bawa who was arrested along with Jinda on August 30.

The sources said Josh allegedly arranged a flat on hire for Jinda and Bawa in Gandhi Nagar in April.

Kulwant Singh was working as ‘a “contact man” between chief of the “Khalistan Commando Force”, Labh Singh and Jinda in their plans to make Delhi a base for their operations, the sources said.

The two arrested by the Delhi police were produced before the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, who remanded them to five days’ police custody.

Earlier, pleading for 10 days’ police remand of the two accused persons, Mr., R.D. Sharma, told the court that the two were involved in a conspiracy hatched by Jinda and Bawa to strike terror in the Capital and liquidate VIPs.

‘The court: was) also informed: that Josh arranged the flat in Gandhi Nagar for Jinda and Bawa for Rs. 1,500 per month as rent. A sum of Rs. 10,000 was paid as advance to the landlord by Bawa, through Josh.
