Contributed by: Ms. Haryind Kaur: On an overcast August day a group of youth fad the unique opportunity to meet the hand of the temporal authority of the ‘Sikhs.

Jaikara’s echoed as Jathedar Bhai Manjit Singh ji of the Akal Takht stepped out of his car, He humbly greeted the group, “Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji Ki Fateh”

He was at the Lohgarh Sikh Youth Leadership Retreat to meet ‘and discuss the Panth’s future, with the Communities’ youth. The first meeting for this group of 33 Sikh outlays from across the country was on August 16.

Singh Sahib Jiate did Kirtan and spoke with all the youth over a three day period, His Humbleness coupled with his demeanor commanded great respect from the audience.

Several camps the honor of sitting with Singh Sahib Ji for an interview. He asked each camper to ask any question his mind desired. Singh Shiba ji’s open accessibility and valued desire to hear from each and every camper made his interview another example of his vision to connect the next generation to the Panth and that includes the generations growing Up here in America.
