CHANDIGARAH India: The Janata Party pleaded for a dialogue with freedom fighting organizations for bringing peace to Punjab. Talking to newsmen, Mr. Yashwant Sinha, the General Secretary of the Janata Party said that the government should open negotiations with Damdami Taksall and A.LS.S.F.

But there should not be any talks with individual freedom fighters. He felt that Punjab Accord should be rewritten because number of its provisions was paralyzed. In the present form the accord not be implemented. The Accord is a joke; Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan have been taking different positions on the issue.
