International Sikh Youth Federation Convention: S. Ganga Singh Extends Full Support
Fremont: California: The annual convention of the International Sikh Youth Federation was held here at the Sikh Temple on October 25. It was attended by representatives from all over United
States and Canada. A delegation from U.K. also participated. The convention was addressed among others by S. Didar Singh Bains, S. Ganga Singh Dhillon, Dr. Gurbakhsh Singh Gill and Giani ‘Pritam Singh of U.K. The speakers stressed upon the need for unity at this crucial juncture. S. Ganga Singh extended his full cooperation to the Federation.
A recorded message reportedly from Baba Joginder Singh was tape played in which Baba ji called upon the Sikhs living abroad to follow the Sikh way and to devote themselves to ‘Simran’ (meditative recitation), He also appealed to the Sikhs to extend support to his grandson, Bhai Lakhbir Singh Khalsa. Bhai Lakhbir Singh has taken upon himself the task of organizing the Sikh youth all over the world to realize the dream of the great martyr Bhai Amrik Singh who had hoped to develop All India Sikh Students Federation into a powerful World Organization. S. Didar Singh announced a donation of $11,000 to the Federation.
