MICHIGAN: A proposal to form an International Sikh Studies Association is likely to take shape on the occasion of the Fourth Annual Sikh Studies Conference scheduled to be held here on Saturday, December 3, 1988. The proposal will be discussed on December 3, 1988 at 4 p.m. at the Asian Studies Centre, Michigan State University East Lansing, ML. The following agenda will be taken up at the meeting:

Agenda

  1. Adoption of interim statement of objectives
  2. Election of Interim Officers and Council, bylaws committee, and nomination committee.
  3. Proposals for a society journal.
  4. Formulation of plans to register the society as a non-profit educational entity, and determination of a location for the international and national offices.
