NEW DELHI: A new era in Indian television began last week with the launch of the International Channel of Doordarshan which would reach millions of people in the West and South Asia.
The International Channel to be beamed from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 12 noon, via the Asia satellite to 40 Asian countries would telecast programs on Indian classical music and dance.
