LAHORE, Pakistan: Dr. Israr Ahmed, Ameer Tanzeem Islami has said that an Indo-Pak war has become inevitable and Indian army activities on the border for the last couple of months were quite significant.
In his Friday sermon he said that Indian a rulers cannot bear the luxury of spending billions of rupees on armed exercises without purpose. He said that it was high time for training every youth of the nation to defend the motherland.
He observed that the government being unstable is afraid of initiating mass training which, he feared, can result in national disaster.
Dr. Israr Ahmed said that mass training never meant to abolish the armed forces but to supplement the work of armed forces. He expressed satisfaction over the war weaponry of Pakistan and said that Pakistan Army was one of the best defense forces in the world. He supported peaceful defensive policy of President Zia and said it creates better effects on the outside world.
