NEW DELHI: India will undertake a full tour of Pakistan from the third week of November to February 1990, according to an official of the Board of Control for Cricket in India here,

The itinerary, tentatively agreed between the Indian Board officials and Pakistan Cricket Board secretary, Mr. Arif Aki Khan Abbasi, will be made known shortly.

The officials among other things, also discussed the need of engaging “neutral” umpires as also financial terms and conditions,

Mr. Abbasi who flew here on Friday wanted to confirm whether Jawaharlal Nehru Centenary Cricket Tournament was definitely being staged so that they could finalize their calendar of domestic and international competitions.

The Board Officials it is learnt, declined to make any firm commitment in this regard.

tis however learnt that the tournament will be beld from October 28 to December 14 with five countries, that is, England, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and hosts India participating.

The organizers of the Nehru Centenary are said to be in touch with officials of various countries and if the tournament becomes a reality, at least two matches may be played at Eden Gardens (Calcutta) to generate money,

The Indian board, among others, was represented by the president Mr. B.N Dutt.
