Sardar Pritam Singh Dhaliwal of Acampo, California left for his heavenly abode on Wednesday Jun 9 1993 at the age of 88 years. Born in India at village Pakhowal in Punjab. He came to the USA in 1921 where he graduated in engineering from the University of Michigan and later joined the General Motors as an engineer. After 10 years with GM he joined the US Army in the second World War and became a Sergeant After the War Sardar Pritam Singh went back to India to get married. He had two sons and two daughters who survive him. After retiring from the Army at 55 years of age he settled domn at Acampo and started farming. Sardar Pntam Singh lived to see two of his grandchildren. His two sons are Pritam Junior and Mohinder Singh. His daughters are Rajinder Kaur who is mamed to Dr, Malkit Singh Sahota and Mohinder Kaur Dhaliwal. Services for Sardar Pntam Singh Dhaliwal were held on Sunday June 13 and his body was cremated on Monday June 14.

May God grant his children the strength to bear the sad loss and the wisdom to live up to his expectations.
