Col. Daljit Singh Khera died as a result of a serious auto accident at McCormic South Carolina on October 25, 1995. Funeral services were held on October 29th, at Gurdwara Sahib Augusta. The Akhand path and Bhog was attended by a large gathering from far and near. Col. Khera is survived by his wife Preet, parents Major Bakhtawar Singh and Kartar Kaur, three daughters and a son.
Major Bakhtawar Singh, the entire Khera family and their relatives would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to those who shared our grief and gave support at such a critical time.
