July 31 Sardar Udham Singh was hanged to death in London (AD. 1940). August 1 Maharani Jindan was imprisoned in Sheikhupura fort in A.D.1847, After a long struggle, she succeeded to join her son. Maharaja Dalip Singh in England. She passed away in England on this day in A.D. 1863 in Abingdon House KE-N Sington. She was kept in unconsecrated vault in Kensol Green Cemetery. Her remains later were removed to India by Maharaja Dalip Singh and put into the Godavyri river at Nasik for immersion. August 2 Baba Ala Singh Captured Sirhind August 4 Parkash Divas of Guru Har Krishan Ji. August 6 Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (non-statutory) passed the resolution to launch Nabha agitation (A.D. 1923).
